One year since the Forum in 2013, a Pre-Steering Committee briefing meeting of the Global Snow Leopard and Ecosystem Protection Program was scheduled to be held on December 8, 2014 in Lima, Peru on the sidelines of the International Climate Change Meet. In this informal meeting, a briefing on the activities undertaken by the
GSLEP program in the past one year was presented, and the way was paved for the first steering committee meeting tentatively scheduled to be held in Kyrgyzstan in March-April 2015.
